MORE FROM YOUR DENIM.
Finds notes

Give your jeans somewhere better to hang.

A sturdy hanger or drying rail helps you air, dry and store denim without a pile on the floor.

A place to hang your jeans is a useful find in its own right. Choose it for the job: airing a worn pair, drying a washed pair or keeping clean jeans within reach.

For drying

Start with the care label. Where air-drying is allowed, use a stable rail or hanger that can carry the weight of wet denim. Leave space for air to circulate and protect the floor from drips. Reshape the garment gently rather than stretching it into place.

For the wardrobe

A sturdy trouser hanger with a smooth bar is a simple option. If you prefer clips, check their grip and contact surface on an inconspicuous area first. Tight clips can leave marks; rough edges can catch the cloth. Do not crowd several heavy pairs onto a flimsy hanger.

For airing between wears

Hang the pair in a ventilated spot and let it dry fully before putting it away. Airing is not a substitute for washing when jeans are dirty or need cleaning.

Use what you have first

A clean drying rack or suitable wardrobe hanger may already do the job. The useful upgrade is a stable place with enough space, not a specialist accessory for every pair.
