Before you replace them, check the repair.
Loose buttons, worn hems and small tears: decide what is worth saving.

Some problems look bigger than they are. Others are signs that the fabric around them has weakened. Look closely before choosing a repair or buying another pair.
Small hardware problems
A loose button or damaged zip can often be assessed by a repair shop. Ask whether the surrounding fabric is still sound. Replacing hardware without reinforcing a weak area may not solve the underlying problem.
Worn areas and tears
Small tears may be patched or darned. If an area is thinning, early reinforcement can be more practical than waiting for a larger hole. Ask what the repair will look like from the outside and whether it will affect comfort.
Compare the real value
Consider the cost of the repair, how often you wear the jeans and whether the fit already works. Repair is less appealing when the pair never felt comfortable in the first place.
Keep the decision simple
Take a photo of the problem and ask a local tailor for an estimate. Do not assume every repair will be invisible. A visible patch can be part of the look, but that should be your choice.
